General Information About Soccer Age Groups
  • U6 Soccer is recreational only with emphasis on fun. They play short sided games once a week with a 15 minute practice prior to games.
  • U8 Soccer is recreational only with emphasis on individual skill developement and the beginning of team work. They typically have practice for an hour twice a week and at least one game.
  • U10 Soccer offers recreational and competitive soccer. Iindividual skill development and team strategy continues to be instructed. They typically have practice for an hour twice a week with 1-2 games.
  • U11 - U12 Soccer offers recreational and competitive soccer. Just as U10 Soccer individual skills are still being encouraged and developed, team strategy is more of the focus.

Older age groups have recreational and competitive (Metro and Division 1) levels of soccer with limited travel. Times and schedules vary on level of team and coaching commitment. All coaches are committed to teach players team work, individual ball skills, and a passion for the game.

Most teams practice on a Tuesday-Thursday or Monday-Wednesday schedule.

If you have any questions regarding soccer please email soccer@PACsports.org.

Please know that your board of directors has done everything in their power to keep sports at PAC affordable. You will note that we have kept our fees in line with last years. We continue to struggle to pay our rising maintenance, insurance, utility, security and regular park improvement costs. PAC owns the land that we utilize but we do have a very significant mortgage on the property. Please consider making a donation when registering online for soccer. PAC constantly strives to offer the most competitive and fun sports experience on the West Bank of New Orleans. PAC is your park and with your help and participation it will continue to be the best place to play soccer and baseball in the city. Thank you for your continued support.
